Update - M860Tools V.2.12 / Elna 9500

New update compatibility for CD M860Tool V2.12 from owners of the Elna 9500:

For 64-bit operating systems:

Resolves the problem of direct connection to the PC with the Elna 9500.

For Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit) operating systems:

Enables the automatic installation of machine drivers.

Important notice for owners of M860Tool V.1.2:

When updating M860Tool to version 2.12, additional features and functions will be automatically installed such as AcuPrintTool. Although this additional feature will not be operational without updating your machine to Version 2.01, they will not affect the functioning of M860Tool on earlier machine versions and can simply be ignored.

Extraction of a file through Windows 7:

The following shows how to use the standard compression function of Windows 7 to extract a compressed folder.

To extract/uncompress using other operating systems (e.g.. 64-bit Vista or XP systems), please refer to the instruction manual for that system.

To extract the contents of the compressed folder, right-click the folder "Jsmc860Intaller" and click "Extract All".

The Extract Compressed (Zipped) folders dialog will open. Browse to the location where you would like the folder to open, check the box next to Show extracted files when complete and click Extract.

When the extraction is complete, click on the new folder to open it.
